Membership
Eligibility
- Students from any recognized higher education institution are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest in social innovation and a willingness to contribute to the Sandbox’s activities.
Application Process
- Interested students must submit an application form detailing their background, motivations, and any relevant experience.
- Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of Sandbox staff and faculty advisors.
- Selected candidates will be invited for an interview as part of the final selection process.
Rights and Responsibilities
- Non-Tangaza members have the right to participate in all Sandbox activities, including immersion visits, workshops, mentoring sessions, and Social Innovation competitions.
- Members are responsible for adhering to all rules and guidelines set by the Sandbox.
- Members must contribute positively to the collaborative environment, respecting all participants and staff.
Activities and Participation
Immersion Visits
- Non-Tangaza members are encouraged to participate in all immersion visits.
- Members must comply with the guidelines and requirements set for each visit, including safety protocols and active participation.
Entrepreneural Expert Input
- Members have access to all workshops, seminars, and mentoring sessions.
- Participation is encouraged to maximize learning and network opportunities.
Social Innovation Competitions
- Non-Tangaza members can participate in all Sandbox Innovation competitions.
- Members must adhere to the rules and deadlines of each competition.
Code of Conduct
Professionalism and Respect
- All members must conduct themselves with professionalism and respect towards others.
- Discrimination, harassment, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.
Collaboration and Integrity
- Members are expected to collaborate openly and honestly, sharing ideas and resources in a spirit of mutual respect.
- Plagiarism or dishonesty in any form will result in disciplinary action, including potential expulsion from the Sandbox.

Termination of Membership
Voluntary Withdrawal
- Members may withdraw from the Sandbox at any time by notifying the governance committee in writing.
Involuntary Termination
- Membership may be terminated for violations of this constitution or the Sandbox’s guidelines.
- The governance committee will review cases of misconduct and make decisions regarding termination.
